Here is our Q&A with Anne Montejo Lopez, General Manager of Cebu Grill.
Q. How and When Cebu Grill started?
Anne: I work for ILJIN international travel agency as operations manager. Everytime our clients from Philippines arrived in Korea, they always ask for Filipino restaurants , some of them can’t eat Korean food because of the garlic smell and very spicy taste. There are Only few Filipino restaurants here in Seoul, So I decided to open one. My husband and I really love food, in fact we’ve tasted different cuisines. We finally opened Cebu Grill just last year on September 28, 2014.
Q. What are the reasons of naming it Cebu Grill instead of other Philippine sounding names?
Anne: I named it Cebu Grill because Korean people are very familiar with Cebu and besides, my dad is pure Cebuano.
Q. Describe the environment/atmosphere of Cebu Grill? The kinds of food, drinks, etc.
